    Strength training suggestions?

Does anyone have any good muscle/ mass building suggestions?
I just realized that I ship in June and I am really skinny. Right now my nightly workout includes pushups until my little arms can not push any more and pullups usually about 5-8 max sets. This is all done with a high protien diet of Meat, peanut butter and protien shakes.

Does anyone have any suggstions? Or improvments?

    Thank you for any Replies.

Use heavy weights w/few reps. As heavy as you can. Do lots of Mountain Climbers. Work Biceps and Chest one day and Triceps and Back the other days. Sit ups and Pushups every day. I tend to Drop and do Pushups about 6 times a day. (50 Per)
    Good luck

creatine will help you gain muscle and mass very quickly. it's a supplement so it's entirely legal. but make sure you read up on it first. gotta make sure you drink ALOT of water, and you have to actually work out ALOT otherwise you will just get fat.

Using creatine to make you bigger during boot camp is essentially pointless.

The day you stop taking creatine you will start to loose that "mass" that it helped you create. So while most people are gaining muscle size, you'll be getting smaller. And probably puzzling the D.I.s in the process.

BTW, giant bowls of Frosted Mini Wheats and cereal is also good for what you want.

remember try not to get bulky... you wanna stay lean... make sure you keep your run times up, thats important... well anyway eat lots of tuna... maybe 2-3 cans a day and stick to the pushups and pullups, try not to lift too much, pushups and pullups build lean enduranced muscle that you need, not all that bulk you dont... WATER/POTASSIUM/PROTEIN/REST... are the key factors in building lean muscle

    heres a good one
start squatting with weight, leg presses and do the quad and hamstring machines at the gym if you go there. your leg muscles are so big that when worked, they release muscle building ezymes or something to your upper body so when you do pull ups and that it helps more.

are u serious about the leg **** it will help ur upper body if so..i will be doing this everyotherday then...thankyou..that is really helpful

true true... i do leg presses before i bench and usually up the weight quite a bit. one thing is to stay away from the supplements... and dont lift too much... dont make it ur life you need that cardio with running.

Don't do leg presses! If you want to be a Marine, stop looking for the easy way out! Put a bar across your back and SQUAT! And yes, working the legs will cause you to get big in the upper body as well. I don't understand it, it goes against everything I know about exercise physiology, but it works. So, to recap... DO SQUATS!

There is a good discussion thread on the aspects of creatine. The consensus was to stay away from that trash.
