Your Favorite Military TV series?
What were some of your favorite Military oriented tv shows?
Go back as far as you like.
Mine are: Steve Canyon, 12 O'clock High, Rat Patrol & Combat.
Comedys are ok too.... MASH, Phil Silvers, McHale's Navy...

Rat Patrol was great! I wish they still had it on reruns.
I liked Tour of Duty, JAG was good the first couple of seasons, Major Dad was a cool comedy, we used to watch that in the sqaud bay all the time.

Victory at Sea was a series but not a sit-com. That is my all time favorite because of content and musical score.
I used to chuckle at my Aunt when she would say, in disgust, "The Germans weren't that dumb!", as eveyone was watching Hogan's Heroes.
Currently, NCIS, seems to pretty much above board entertainment.

AND A "BLAST FROM THE PAST"...IN THE 60'S THERE WAS A SHOW CALLED "THE LIEUTENANT" about a Marine officer.

Never saw that one Bigdog - though I don't know how I forgot Baa Baa Blacksheep - was my favorite show when I was a kid!

F-Troop, McHales Navy and Hogans Heros, I thought I was cool learning german;-). Shootout is really good too.
