Angry Must Read"How to Destroy America

We all know Dick Lamm as the former Governor of
    > Colorado. I challenge all that receive this to read
    > thoroughly and let it sink in then act on it.
    > In that context his thoughts are particularly
    > poignant. Last week there was an
    > immigration-overpopulation conference in Washington,
    > DC, filled to capacity by many of American's finest
    > minds and leaders.
    > A brilliant college professor named Victor Hansen
    > Davis talked about his latest book, "Mexifornia,"
    > explaining how immigration - both legal and illegal
    > - was destroying the entire state of California. He
    > said it would march across the country until it
    > destroyed all vestiges of The American Dream.
    >
    > Moments later, former Colorado Governor Richard D.
    > Lamm stood up and gave a stunning speech on how to
    > destroy America. The audience sat spellbound as he
    > described eight methods for the destruction of the
    > United States. He said, "If you believe that America
    > is too smug, too self-satisfied, too rich, then
    > let's destroy America. It is not that hard to do. No
    > nation in history has survived the ravages of time.
    > Arnold Toynbee observed that all great civilizations
    > rise and fall and that 'An autopsy of history would
    > show that all great nations commit suicide.'" "Here
    > is how they do it," Lamm said:
    > First to destroy America, "Turn America into a
    > bilingual or multi-lingual and bicultural country.
    > History shows that no nation can survive the
    > tension, conflict, and antagonism of two or more
    > competing languages and cultures. It is a blessing
    > for an individual to be bilingual; however, it is a
    > curse for a society to be bilingual. "The historical
    > scholar Seymour Lipset put it this way: 'The
    > histories of bilingual and bi-cultural societies
    > that do not assimilate are histories of turmoil,
    > tension, and tragedy.' Canada, Belgium, Malaysia,
    > Lebanon all face crises of national existence in
    > which minorities press for autonomy, if not
    > independence. Pakistan and Cyprus have divided.
    > Nigeria suppressed an ethnic rebellion. France faces
    > difficulties with Basques, Bretons, and Corsicans."
    > Lamm went on: Second, to destroy America, "Invent
    > 'multiculturalism' and encourage immigrants to
    > maintain their culture. I would make it an article
    > of belief that all cultures are equal. That there
    > are no cultural differences. I would make it an
    > article of faith that the Black and Hispanic dropout
    > rates are due to prejudice and discrimination by the
    > majority. Every other explanation is out of bounds.
    > Third, "We could make the United States an 'Hispanic
    > Quebec' without much effort. The key is to celebrate
    > diversity rather than unity. As Benjamin Schwarz
    > said in the Atlantic Monthly recently: 'The apparent
    > success of our own multiethnic and multicultural
    > experiment might have been achieved not by tolerance
    > but by hegemony. Without the dominance that once
    > dictated ethnocentrically and what it meant to be an
    > American, we are left with only tolerance and
    > pluralism to hold us together.'" Lamm said, "I would
    > encourage all immigrants to keep their own language
    > and culture. I would replace the melting pot
    > metaphor with the salad bowl metaphor. It is
    > important to ensure that we have various cultural
    > subgroups living in America reinforcing their
    > differences rather than as Americans, emphasizing
    > their similarities."
    > "Fourth, I would make our fastest growing
    > demographic group the least educated. I would add a
    > second underclass, unassimilated, undereducated, and
    > antagonistic to our population. I would have t hi s
    > second underclass have a 50% dropout rate from high
    > school."
    > "My fifth point for destroying America would be to
    > get big foundations and business to give these
    > efforts lots of money. I would invest in ethnic
    > identity, and I would establish the cult of
    > 'Victimology.' I would get all minorities to think
    > their lack of success was the fault of the majority.
    > I would start a grievance industry blaming all
    > minority failure on the majority population."
    > "My sixth plan for America's downfall would include
    > dual citizenship and promote divided loyalties. I
    > would celebrate diversity over unity. I would stress
    > differences rather than similarities. Diverse people
    > worldwide are mostly engaged in hating each other -
    > that is, when they are not killing each other. A
    > diverse, peaceful, or stable society is against most
    > historical precedent. People undervalue the unity it
    > takes to keep a nation together. Look at the ancient
    > Greeks. The Greeks believed that they belonged to
    > the same race; they possessed a common language and
    > literature; and they worshipped the same gods. All
    > Greece took part in the Olympic games. A common
    > enemy Persia threatened their liberty. Yet all these
    > bonds were not strong enough to over come two
    > factors: local patriotism and geographical
    > conditions that nurtured political divisions. Greece
    > fell. "E. Pluribus Unum" -- From many, one. In that
    > historical reality, if we put the emphasis on the
    > 'pluribus' instead of the 'Unum,' we can balkanize
    > America as surely as Kosovo."
    > "Next to last, I would place all subjects off limits
    > ~ make it taboo to talk about anything against the
    > cult of 'diversity.' I would find a word similar to
    > 'heretic' in the 16th century - that stopped
    > discussion and paralyzed thinking. Words like
    > 'racist' or 'xenophobe' halt discussion and debate."
    > "Having made America a bilingual/bicultural country,
    > having established multi-culturism, having the large
    > foundations fund the doctrine of 'Victimology,' I
    > would next make it impossible to enforce our
    > immigration laws. I would develop a mantra: That
    > because immigration has been good for America, it
    > must always be good. I would make every individual
    > immigrant symmetric and ignore the cumulative impact
    > of millions of them."
    > In the last minute of his speech, Governor Lamm
    > wiped his brow. Profound silence followed.
    > Finally he said, "Lastly, I would censor Victor
    > Hanson Davis's book Mexifornia. His book is
    > dangerous. It exposes the plan to destroy America.
    > If you feel America deserves to be destroyed, don't
    > read that book." There was no applause. A chilling
    > fear quietly rose like an ominous cloud above every
    > attendee at the conference. Every American in that
    > room knew that everything Lamm enumerated was
    > proceeding methodically, quietly, darkly, yet
    > pervasively across the United States today.
    > Every discussion is being suppressed. Over 100
    > languages are ripping the foundation of our
    > educational system and national cohesiveness.
    > Barbaric cultures that practice female genital
    > mutilation are growing as we celebrate 'diversity.'
    > American jobs are vanishing into the Third World as
    > corporations create a Third World in America - take
    > note of California and other states - to date, ten
    > million illegal aliens and growing fast. It is
    > reminiscent of George Orwell's book 1984, "Ignorance
    > is strength."
    > Governor Lamm walked back to his seat. It dawned on
    > everyone at the conference that our nation and the
    > future of this great democracy is deeply in trouble
    > and worsening fast. If we don't get this immigration
    > monster stopped within three years, it will rage
    > like a California wildfire and destroy everything in
    > its path, especially The American Dream.

I believe, to be politically correct, you should post this speech in spanish too.

Interesting tidbit...I teach in an affluent community on the east coast. I was speaking to an ESOL (english as a second language) teacher today and she informed me that there are 130 languages representing the native tongue of students in this community. The community borders Washington D.C.

    lose the borders NOW!!!
    Then read this
Births to immigrants at all-time high
A new analysis of birth records finds the percentage of births in the U.S. to immigrants is at an all-time high, with 23 percent of births in 2002 by foreign-born mothers.

The analysis by the Center for Immigration Studies, or CIS, finds that level is higher than in 1910, during the peak of the last great wave of immigration.

"Nearly 10 percent of all births in the country were to illegal-alien mothers," states a summary of the report. "This is important for at least two reasons: First, it is currently U.S. government policy to award American citizenship to all persons born on U.S. soil, even the children of tourists and illegal aliens. In addition, the number and share of children born to immigrants is now so large that it may overwhelm the assimilation process."

The 23 percent figure for births by foreign-born women compares to just 15 percent in 1990, 9 percent in 1980 and 6 percent in 1970, the study reports.

While statistics on births to illegals are harder to pin down, CIS believes approximately 383,000, or 42 percent, of births to immigrants in 2002 were by illegal-alien mothers.

Notes the study: "The large number of births to illegals shows that the longer illegal immigration is allowed to persist the harder it is to solve, because these U.S. citizen children can stay permanently, their citizenship can prevent a parent's deportation, and once adults, they can sponsor their parents for permanent residence."

Though the percentage of births to immigrants has skyrocketed in recent years, the diversity level of those giving births has gone down. The analysis shows of the foreign-born births in 2002, 45 percent were by women from Mexico, compared to just 24 percent in 1970.

The tough part would be to word an immigration law that would still allow Cubans to flee Castro but keep everyone else and their newborns fair game.

You got to have the hispanic vote in FLA to keep the White House.

Whether people like it or not, it's the immigrant birthrate, among other things, that is keeping our country wealthy. If we didn't have immigrants, our birthrate would be around 1.4 children per woman, which is not enough to replace the population. We would be in the same boat as Japan, France, and other countries. They have experienced a drastic "aging" of their population in the last few years, leaving many elderly people without resources to care for them. We have seen this in the US to a certain extent with the Baby Boom generation and Social Security. While I don't agree with illegal immigration, I welcome immigrants with open arms.

Iprkn,I think you are missing the point of the article!! This Great country was built and still maintained by immigrants. The article is making a point about the need to curb "Illegal immigration.Based on your analysis, the country would continue to populate, but be over ran with illegals, though babies born in this country, would be considered a citizen.

Let me begin by saying; If the native Americans (both north and south) had an immigration policy none of us would probably be here in the good ol' USofA now. The same could be said of the Spanish later on in the southwest and Florida (and let us not forget Russia and Alaska). The rush north and west was triggered by the greed for gold, and the participants were emigrants. Immigration policy, as we now know it, really came into being after the civil war, before then it was generally controlled by localities, if controlled at all.

All of the above is in the past, it is nice to know about the past, however there is no need to dwell there. IT'S OVER, GET USED TO IT!!!!

Let us dwell in the present for awhile. There are regulations in place to allow those persons from other lands the opportunity to come and live here the rest of their days, after a grace period, they are given permanent residence. In days gone by, the sick, infirm, criminals and degenerates were excluded from residence here. Once again, this in the past!

We now are being inundated with "illegals" from all over the world, not just Mexico. These illegals do a disservice to those people who went through the bureaucratic hassle to get here with the proper documentation. All of this illega business is encouraged by present day government policy (the old laws are still on the books), such as the Cuban situation mentioned, the welfare assistance given to illegals (plus other stipends, food stamps and rental assistance for example). As an aside, you can bet your goodies that there are a bunch of politicians being paid off too (after all, we are in the Kakistocratic era of the Republic).

Personally, I welcome ALL, Legal, persons from abroad. However, the lawbreakers (illegals) should be denied entry and returned to their crossing point. After all, if they break the countrys laws to get in it is a sign of disrespect for all of our laws, and the country as well. If they are coming here for work, then apply for a green card. I have run across many foriegn "guest workers" during my lifetime, some of them have been here for decades, but they still comply with the laws of the land and renew the residency requirements when due.

With respect to the multi-lingual issue. I would guess that ninety nine point nine percent of this countrys business is conducted in the english language, the best example is the airlines where english is the predominate language worldwide. Try to imagine a pilot who speaks...say...Urdu trying to talk to an air traffic controller from the Bowery.

Don't get offended, this is just an example of one of the many regional dialects (accents) in the country.

The other languages are generally confined to the particular ethnic neighborhoods and diverse organizations of the same backgrounds. The person who does not speak english is at a disadvantage in the real world. Just another example; How many of you were introduced to english in the military? I don't recall any orders or instructions in any other language in my time. Yes, the different ethnicitys communicated in their native language during "down time."

You should take a good hard look at the people promoting all of this diversity. I will guarantee that they are all in the business of promoting themselves and scamming the ignorant (not a derogatory word) of their money. It's like the people who's entire careers are dedicated to attending seminars and conferences. They don't have to know anything, just how to parrot the rhetoric.

Finally, it is past time that all of U.S. start pulling our share of the load and start running all of the folk dedicated to the destruction of our way of life back under the porch or rock from whence they came.

This is the year of our Lord 2005 and none other. Next year will be 2006, so on and so forth.

    SEMPER FIDELIS
