    DrillInstructors Post Recruit Knowledge

He had alot of posts so I thought I would start this one to make it easier to reply too

That is the test we will take at boot camp? How many questions is it anyways?

    thx

The first one you take is at the end of first phase I believe. Its 50 questions and its EASY. The second one you take is one of the last things you do in boot camp, even after The Crucible. That one is about 120? I cant remember. Over 100 though. That one is easy too because the DIs ground everything into your head so much. The tests are not somthing to worry about as much as say...final PFT.

  3. #3
My friend told me the 2nd test you take is 170 questions.

  4. #4
That sounds about right. I think almost all of them are mutiple choice and matching. They do matching for rank structure questions. Two of the questions they showed a snake and a spider and you had to tell what kind it was. Easy stuff.

So the Q and A that drillinstructor provided is just the general mass of knowledge covered? or is it a test? Officers test maybe? Hmmm if you know all of this info I bet the Drill Instructors would get pretty mad.

If you want to get a head start, begin by looking up Marine Corps knowledge online. Learn the rich history of the brotherhood you are about to join. Make sure you study rank structure. The first aid, ucmj, and all that other stuff, you will get classes on and then drilled into your head every night before you hit the rack. Like everyone has said, you will have heard and repeated the answers so much in your 3 months, you will be reciting them in your sleep.

  7. #7
although this is true..you will be drilled. It is a good idea to absorb as much knowledge as possible. Know your General Orders Verbatim and absorb any and everything else you can. That will show good leadership on your part and is a good impression. I am so impressed to see a young man step in front of me the first day and he can spat off knowledge to me...yes my guide for sure if his PT is good............

  8. #8
can someone tell me what is exactly on this test in bootcamp?

  10. #10

  11. #11
