CAMP FOSTER - Heads up, Marines: The Corps' No. 2 man says be ready, because the war on terrorism isn't over. In fact, part of it may go on right in your own back yard. Gen. Michael Williams, Marine Corps assistant commandant, said the war is changing how Marines think and fight - with those changes now coming ashore to Marines stationed in Japan and Okinawa.
The Corps is the force of choice to head out on a moment's notice, Williams said - especially significant since the fight against al-Qaida isn't just in Afghanistan anymore.
