Yesiree! My beautiful wife and I are New Years Eve'ing at a local veterans club. Almost broke the bank buying her a nice ring for Christmas. But now she is excited as hell to go out on the town to show it off.

To one and all-
To all of you who have put up with "my stuff" all year round, I toast you.
I have enjoyed my stay as a guest for about two years or so and I can't tell you how much I have appreciated your support, knowledge, spirit, humor, and generousity....especially in regards to my two sons and, as a whole, all of our Armed Forces and DOD personnel.
I wish all of you the Brightest and Shiniest of New Years. Usher in another year with aplomb, style, your own particular kind of charisma. I'd raise some champagne to you now but I drank it all last night. Hey, I got the dates wrong! Take care and be safe.

Sheet! In '83 when I stepped on the yellow foot prints, 2005 was not even a glimmer. The Soviet Bear was the big boogey man of the day. We all dreamed of having a Spetnaz on our front site post.

Times and enemies change. 22 years later we still endure. For every conflict there is our Marine Corps.
