Warrant Officer Brad Goode never imagined that signing up with the Marine Corps would also land him a stint in a major motion picture. A deployment in Europe made that possible, however, when he was selected to play the part he knows best -- a U.S. Marine -- in the Matt Damon film The Bourne Identity.

Goode is assigned to Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, where he serves as a personnel officer. Before coming here, he served as a Marine security guard in Frankfurt, Germany.

He learned of the opportunity in January 2001 after Frank Marshall, the film's producer, contacted Marine Corps officials and requested the use of several Marine security guards to lend authenticity to a particular plot twist.
