A Marine Corps unit that was the target of parachute sabotage during a Sept. 21 airborne training exercise at Camp Lejeune, has had its jumps cancelled for the immediate future and may not jump again until November, military officials said.

Meanwhile, an investigation continues into the incident at a landing zone on the Camp Davis area of Lejeune.

“Everyday we work on this we try to narrow it down a little bit more,” said Klain Garriga, special agent in charge and senior Naval Criminal Investigative Service supervisor for the Carolinas.
