    MEEE !!!! MEEE !!!!!
    I did that.

I also used to fill squirt guns with ink.
I really did get in trouble for that.

We used to take rubber suction cups.
Drive a screw though the center, screw tip inside the suction part.
Attach a string with knots every 1/2 inch.
    Sneak up to someones window.
    Lick the suction cup.
    Attach it to the window.
Pull the string tight, run your thumbnail over the knots.
The screw tip would hit the glass causing a machine gun like noise that used to scare hell out of whoever was in the house.

Mischief night was a major holiday for me.

That is just too complicated for me, Sgted. In my youthful exuberence we loaded up in the back of a truck driven by our dairy farmer buddy. The initial volley was about $20 bucks worth of bottle rockets followed by a giant roll of generic fire crackers.

On one raid I lit the roll of 100+ firecrackers just when the driver accelerated out of the zone. My buddy that was tasked to delivery the weapon was jolted to the truckbed in mid- toss. He still managed to grab our weapon of mass annoyance and fling it into the target area. Unfortunately he lost his balance and was ejected out of truck!

He sustained minor scrapes and bruises, but the effect was beautiful! It sounded like a whole battalion opening up on full auto.

    Yellowwing.
    We bored easily.
Could not get our hands on firecrackers or the like.
Eventually, as we got older we would ride around trying to catch kids doing mischief. When we caught them we would act like we were Sheriff's deputies or something and scare them back home.

One other thing we used to do.
We'd find a fairly brisk sidewalk.
When there was a lull in pedestrian traffic we would string sewing thread back & forth the sidewalk.
We'd hide waiting for the first pedestrian.
Of course, it was like walking into a very strong spider web.
People would stop....try to remove the "web". Some would eventually run like h*ll to get away.
This prank would only work at night in a dark area.
