    Hello my Dad ( James Elsom, USMC ) was there somewhere between 43 and 46? He's never said much about it and I guess probably won't ever. Times running out . He had a lot of pictures taken on the islands , but I probably lost them all when I'd take them to school, I was and am very proud of him.
