When did you enter Boot Camp?

I started recruit Training 38 years ago today 16 Sept 1964

Platoon 285, Company K, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion MCRDPI

In those days it was a 13 week training schedule.

38 Damn Years, where the HE!! did the time go?

Boot to some, Salt to many, and just your old basic Jar Head

Cool See a Few Boots Here

Left for Boot Camp PI, August 15, 1961, Plt 253. We spent the first night in the Corps in a motel at Philadelphia Airport. Plane we we suppose to fly on never got off the ground. Next day took a nice bus ride to PI.

    Sempers,
