    Cool Silent Drill Team in K.C.

    Saw the Marines of 8th and I in Overland Park on Sat. They were great. I have not seen a perfomance since 1989. Drum and Bugle Corps was kickin too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone else see the cold and rainy display??????????????red

    Saw them at the Chiefs opener last year. Complete silence from the crowd at Arrowhead is no small feat!!

    Sorry to say I've never had the pleasure of seeing the Silent Drill Team in action, live. It is one of the events I hope to catch in D.C. one of these years before I die. The Marine Memorial monument would be the perfect backdrop.
    It would be like a Muslim pilgrimage to go to Mecca at least once in a lifetime. Something anticipated and treasured.
