Retaking ASVAB

So a few months ago I took my ASVAB at my school and scored a 63. I want to retake the asvab because I got a 96 GT score. My recruiter gave me a PICAT and i scored a 70 with a 108 GT, since i’ve already taken the asvab I have to take the full test at MEPS, unfortunately. Since i did better on my PICAT do you guys think that I would do way better on my next asvab retake? How similar are the scores between the PICAT and the ASVAB? Did any Marines/Poolees score the same or better on the ASVAB? I’ve been studying all GT sections, i’m pretty ****ed cause i was 4 points off of the MOS i wanted.

Study? Go to the library or go on Amazon and get an ASVAB study guide. If you take it again just expecting to do better... well then that's on you.

Be real careful what you ask for. There is no guarantee your score will be higher. Even with study, scores can go down (it happens).
