thank you. excatly. no is better than what if. the NG told me 15 credits and ace the asvab to get my foot in but no guarantee. hope the Marines say the same cause im already on my way there.

In my day, you would not have had a problem getting in. But, the Corps and it's qualifications have changed. At one time, being physically able and willing to die for your Country and Corps, was more than enough to get in the Corps. It's a lot of PC crap. Not the Corps some of us was in.

^^^exactly right. Your chances would be a lot higher if you were a female, openly gay, and/or an open transgender. That is pretty obvious in todays PC culture. Maybe walk a little funny and bat your eyes at the recruiter when you go - probably get you some points in your favor.

Female, maybe... I'm pretty sure they don't have quotas for gay and transgender people.
