Good luck Moose.......I actually enjoyed my time at P.I. (well prepared by my Father- 20 year- 3 Nam tour Vet) Just keep a level head..The physical and mental aspects where a breeze for me......the toughest for me was all the d*mn running! Just keep your chin up! Suck it up! And feel the pride when you finally become a Marine!

Moose,
and to ALL Poolees, Gonnabees, and Wannabees.
as Rudyard Kipling said (slightly edited):
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Marine!
You've prepared yourself, you have received all the help and best wishes that we can give you, now there's only one thing left.
DO IT!

We'll send you cookies in the mail and tell your girlfriend to send you letters drenched in perfume. LOL. Good luck. Stay sharp, stay focused and stay motivated. I'm a grouchy old man now, but if I were young I'd do it all again.
Gene.
