Itb
I’m wondering about ITB and exactly what it’s like. How hard is ITB? How many people fail out of it? What happens if you fail out of it? If you fail do you just get recycled or are you just done and get reassigned an MOS? I know it’s obviously going to be pretty hard but I want to know how hard. Any information is helpful, thanks.

It's boot camp you need to worry about, not ITB. If you can get through boot camp, and you're motivated, ITB won't be a problem. Of course, this presumes you get an infantry contract.

Injuries are the main concern at ITB (overuse injuries like shin splints, stress fractures, etc). The humps (hikes) are longer and the loads heavier than in bootcamp. Lima Company stays full of Marines recuperating from injuries/surgery and a few are medically discharged (some of those can come back after healing completely and with a medical waiver). Don't know about recycling/failing. Female Marines routinely graduate from ITB now - if that means anything to you.
Good luck.
