2nd Battalion platoon 2038 August 1969 company name?

I was a recruit with Platoon 2038, 2nd Battalion from August thru November 1969. Does anyone here happen to know the Company name?

Attempting to put together some information for my Grandson who is graduating December 1, 2017

Appreciate any help.

I was 2nd Bn. aug.68 to oct. 68 we were compnay D if that helps? Delta

There are two Recruit Depots. Might help to know which Depot you were at. I do know that San Diego didn't have a "D" Company during that time period.

Sorry Gunny, I was at Parris Island. August 1969 - November 1969.

I was at PI Jan 67- March 67. I don't remember company names, just platoon numbers. I was in Platoon 336.

There was no Company name, that I remember. I remember everything else though. After I think about it....I heard the word Maggot a lot.....maybe it was Maggot Company??
