This Day In 1969
The moon landing was July 20, 1969. I remember watching it live on television.

I was in the Philly Naval Hospital.....but we saw it on t.v. as well. John Kennedy was a true supporter of NASA. The last of our Presidents with common sense.

During many of those walks in the park I sometimes thought that I was walking on the moon. Seemed kind of unreal at times.

I was at Balboa Naval Hospital with our very sick daughter.
I could have gave a **** if they landed on Mars. Was not important to me.
