Verifying Recruiters words
So Im supposed to leave the 24th October under a UH Contract. Today I was put on backup to ship October 11th. I said that it was fine as long as I kept my UH contract. He said that my job wouldn't change. So does this sound right? As long as its still in October, I would keep my UH Contract? any help or experiences would be appreciated!

Simple. Look at the MOS appendage to your contract BEFORE signing anything on shipping day at MEPS. If it does not say UH, don't sign it and you won't ship. Tell your recruiter you'll ship when the contact says UH.
You'd be surprised how many poolees just trust their recruiters and never bother to read their contract before signing it on shipping day. Some regret that decision.
