Hello Marines, I leave in 2 days and I just wanted to thank everyone for their support! Also when did everyone get nervous? I'm still not nervous just really excited and motivated! My recruiter told me I'll probably just feel it when I get on the bus.

Your recruiter was probably right. I remember being pretty excited, then when that bus pulled into MCRD and that very serious looking gentleman in the smoky the bear hat stepped on board...that's when my sphincter muscle started to quiver. But, you know by now what to do and what NOT to do...you'll do fine. Keep your mouth shut, ears open, and do what you're told. Best of luck to you!

Yes, indeed. It's one thing to think about arriving at MCRD, and quite another to actually arrive there. Nothing can actually prepare you for that. The only thing we can advise is to give it 110% every waking moment, and to be determined that you will make it thru boot camp and beyond with flying colors. Just do more than your best, and you'll be fine.

You really have nothing to worry about. Bootcamp today is not that hard - and getting easier all the time. As long as you sound-off, stay out of trouble, and don't get injured, you'll graduate on time. All DI's can do to you now is yell and nobody ever got hurt being yelled at.
