    Before I went to the Nam I was an MP at Lejeune. I patrolled one of the base housing areas. Don't be too hard on Jodie as that's what the ladies used to call me. Ahhhhhhhh the memories.

    If anyone was wondering, she left me lol. Got my orders to PCA to a different unit, told her about it and that was that. Like they say, if you needed a girlfriend the Marine Corps would've issued one in your seabag. Semper Fi gents.

    The Marine Barracks gate guards in Norfolk used to tell us to ugly to wave car Marines that when ships deployed the Navy wives would cry on the way in to drop off their husbands and be smiling on the way out.
