Got offered Recon Contract; I'm colorblind

My recruiter called me today, asked me if I wanted to leave tomorrow for boot camp with a recon contract. This comes after I spent 1 year trying to get recon and got denied multiple times because I'm colorblind.

My recruiter says they don't really give a sh--. Can anyone confirm the validity of what he said?

I had to decline because of other circumstances, but i do inspire to goto recon after my infantry contract is up, and he just sparked up that interest again by confirming that there is still hope.

If your recruiter said you are good to go then go. What are you doing posting here ?

Other circumstances ??? This is a no brainer.

Have 20/200 near visual acuity or visual acuity not to exceed 20/400 with a completed PRK eye surgery. Normal color vision is recommended, but not required provided the Marine can complete a vivid red and vivid green recognition test.
