AWESOME thread, Rich, I'm surprised none of us ever thought of it before, all these years....

Rich, I meant to tell you. I went on ebay last year and got a couple of TV Guides from different years, sure brought back memories. None of us could ever name all the shows we were familiar with.

Hard to get the local edition TV Guide from our own areas, but it's worth looking into.

You might be interested in those old TV Guides.

My dad was a huge TV western fan growing up. Whenever the TV was on, chances are, it was a western show or movie. So, I really liked "Bonanza", "Gunsmoke", "Wagon Train", "The Rifleman", "Have Gun Will Travel", etc.

That was real TV back then. Everything since has just been spin-offs or reruns. Lucky we have MeTV, Grit TV, etc now to still enjoy those old shows.

Saw Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea this morning, I had it recorded, episode called "City Under the Sea". Released in 1964 in black and white. Wow, that was early. Very interesting imagination. Holds me in captivity.
