Boot camp in 16 days and underweight!

Hello again. I'm posting on this forum once more because I have a concern with my weight. Currently I am 123 and am supposed to be at 125. Other than that I have no other issues that I could think of that could prevent me from shipping. Would I really be delayed for 1-3 pounds ?

I doubt it, but how hard can it be to gain a few pounds, especially around Thanksgiving?

I'm running almost every day of the week. And I've got a pretty high metabolism so my weight stays a steady 120ish. Just wouldn't wanna be held back for a minor issues. I was delayed at MEPS because I was 1 pound under

Good Advice. He'll have plenty of time to run once he gets to boot camp!

Even if I'm not a super strong runner? I average a 11:30 mile and a half . I was told to run till I left. But y'all say other wise. What do?

Don't worry about it. I smoked cigarettes and never ran when I went to boot camp. They'll get you into shape ...

Your DI's will most likely put you on double rations and you'll go into the messhall at the head of the line so you'll have a little extra time to eat as much of it as you can (before kicking the entire platoon out).

Your best bet is to talk with your recruiter, every station is different. My recruiting station would not send anyone that was over or under weight

edit: Oh and by the way, at 11:30 you'll be above average
