    Reenlistment assistance

    Hey everyone! I just got my reenlistment back and it's approved for v1/6 in Camp Lejeune. I was wondering if anyone can tell me about the unit? What's the op tempo like? How's the command? My mos is a radio operator so if anyone could also maybe tell me what life as an 0621 there would be that would be awesome!

    v1/6?.....i assume that means 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment infantry unit

    I deployed with them in 2011/2012...great group of Marines and awesome command/leaders.

    This was 4 years ago though and during a combat deployment, i am not going to speculate how they are now....probably alot of downtime, formations, inspections, field ops, just like every other unit in the Corps right now in "peace time"/garrison mode
