A good knife

Hello Marines,
This is my first post, but have been following the forums for a couple weeks now.
Anyways, my buddy is deploying in a couple weeks and somehow still doesn't have a good knife. So I called dibs on buying him a knife, and I was wondering if there are any particular knives you Marines had on a deployment that you would recommend.

You may want to PM one of the mods...thedrifter, Sgt Leprechaun or jinelson...and ask to have this move to the Marine Family..... Open Discussion part of the forum.

But I was really interested in trying to find a good knife for my friend.
