    Boot camp question IST

So I leave for Parris Island in 2weeks. I'm borderline for my ship weight, but my IST score are 18pullups, 116 crunches and my run time is 1030. Will I be put in PCP or since those scores are good will I stay with my platoon?

Another stellar querstion coming from poolees. Pass height/weight and an ist and you should be good, your recruiter could have easily answered your question for you.

Most likely, you'll stay with your platoon. In these two weeks, work on maybe dropping another pound or two. You want to be within the HT/WT standards to avoid any amibguity. Good luck.

Recruit training is getting super soft anyways. They used to drop recruits like it was cool now the drill instructors when they try to drop someone have to defend themselves and say what steps that had to do to prevent the recruit from getting dropped.

The SDI's send letters to parents now ASKING they send protein bars (for supplemental nutrition) - saw one today. Letter even lists the best brands to buy.

Recently, there was a recruit who is afraid of heights and couldn't complete the confidence course. He still graduated bootcamp.

I was on the Camp LeJeune page today. A mom was talking about her son's dorm room. I reminded her he lives in a barracks and not on some college campus. She said she calls it a dorm because that's what her son calls it! WTF!! Really?
