0321 question

I am enlisting in may and I have looked through a lot of different mos' in the marine corps and I have narrowed my choices down to 0311 or 0321 but I was looking and I found the 0321 but with parachute and diver qualifications (0326) and I was wondering what those schools are like and what kind of opportunities would open up for me later on in the corps.

I am not a Recon Marine but I can tell you that everything within the Recon training pipeline(BRC, jump school, dive school, SERE, SAPPER, etc) is EXTREMELY physically demanding. It is intended to push you past your limit, break you off, and weed you out if you can't hack it.

Being a Recon Marine can open up quite a few doors for you a few years down the road. You could go to a Force Recon Co. or put in a selection package to get into MARSOC. Just like any other MOS in the Corps, what it can do for you is all completely based on what you take from it and how well you market/sell yourself for other things.
