    MOS 0451 Info

    Hello. I chose the Logistics field and I am curious about if it's difficult to get mos 0451 (airborne and air delivery specialist) and also once I go to Basic what qualifications will I need for that mos? -Thanks

    I'm not certain but I think 0451 is what a majority of Marines that enlist into the 04xx field get. There isn't any special qualifications that you need to worry about, you'll either qualify for it based on your ASVAB score or you wont. Nothing you can do will make you more qualified for it while at boot camp. Everything you'll need to know or learn will be be done at the school house and/or once you hit the fleet.

    I think you get to go to Jump School at Ft. Benning, GA for that MOS too

    Thank you for your help. I qualified for the logistics field and I'm waiting to hear confirmation that I got the job from my recruiter. I believe I choose to be an 0451 after I'm done with logistics mos school; but I'm not completely sure.

    You don't get to choose, your specific MOS will be chosen for you based on needs of the Corps
