    Blues - Anodized buttons with non anodized medals

    Hello,

    I have blues which have anodized buttons, and I have medals which are not anodized. Is this authorized to be worn together? From what I understood from MCO P1020.34G this is acceptable, but I may have misunderstood.

    I wore non anodized medals with anodized brass as a SSGT and went to a Marine Corps ball and other functions and no one said anything.....I think the order is correct...I never knew Marines that anodized their medals when I was in...

    yes it is acceptable, just looks like $hit IMO...

    a SSgt at my unit has non-anodized medals, buttons, EGA's on collar and, waist plate for belt....not sure if it's in regs or not but it looks awesome!

    Complain , complain , complain, complain...

    anodize anodize anodize...

    IF you want anodize, shine them up, and spray with
    clear spray lacqure,,,

    IF you want the anodize off,
    SOAK um in amonia and brush it off...

    Then shine um up and put 'um on ...
