Scored a 98 on the ASVAB, going into Recon. Ship date 7-16-12

Scored a 73 on my ASVAB (about average but im happy with it)
MOS 0311 Infantry. Had a choice, either Infantry Reserve or an Active as somthing else. I figuare i can always transferre to Active after a year cause i really wanted Infantry. And after seeing everyone with Infantry contracts on here i can see why i could not get Active Infantry.

Yeah I wouldn't count on that dude. Maybe you should ask some reservists before doing that if you really want to be active.

I scored an 89 on the ASVAB and went into the Intelligence MOS, I'll see what job I get after boot camp.

Finally got my job, going to be an 0621 in the reserves with an artillery battery. It's 6 years obligatory, but I'm going to be going to school an hour south of my reserve unit. So after a couple years at I'm going to check with my command and see what the chances of going to OCS or PLC would be. If that conflicts with my reserve commitment I will try for active duty after I get my BA.

I wanted active duty originally, but that's just not in the cards for me, this way I get a job I actually want and get to do school at the same time.

Oh yeah, 78 ASVAB.. don't believe the 90+'s unless they post the picture of them with their score printout. There aren't many over 74.

I don't have my score printout since I went to MEPS in July. I'm a senior in high school and in the DEP, but I really did score a 98. Had a 148 GT and over 130 on the other line scores

Yea I got a 103 on the dlab and was gonna be a linguist but I didn't qualify for other reasons so I told them I wanted infantry, mp, or security forces and I got infantry.
