No ship date in contract

I went to MEPS about a few weeks ago and signed my contract and got my MOS and everything and I noticed that there was no ship date in my contract but I didn't think much of it. But I've been asking around to other Poolees and I'm realizing it's really unusual for my contract to have no ship date and I've asked my recruiter about it several times and he just says that I will ship to boot camp when he says I will. I'm just wondering why don't I have a ship date?

My post 3 was in response to post 1 not 2, but I asked a mod to take a look at this and see if you don't need some kind of time out, to regroup a bit. Let's see what his decision is. I know what mine would be.
