    FMF Warfare Specialist Badge

I conduct profile integrity for TWS Navy. Is it possible for an E3 Corpsman to earn the above badge while only serving two years active duty?

I did a quick search for the hell of it and found this.

    http://doni.daps.dla.mil/Directives/...ms/1414.4C.pdf

Don't know if it answers your query specifically but maybe it will help.

    Carry on....

There is a possibility, but you must be attached to a FMF command. But where do you think it would happen with only 2 years active duty,Reserves? Active duty HM is a required 5 year enlistment.

The fellow in question only shows two years active duty on his profile from 1996-1998 and shows being stationed at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton from 1997-1998.

He could have had a FMF ribbon. But the FMF warfare pin was not authorized until 2006 I believe and it is not retroactive.

    You're welcome.
I perused the blurb but could not find any reference regarding minimum active duty requirement.

Hmmm.....you think it could be 'stolen valor'.
If so....I know it's a beat to death issue but it still fvcking ****es me off that the posers continue to rear their mugs occasionally.

They still haven't figured it out that the inexcusable conduct of character and total humiliation of getting caught is far worse than anything I could imagine.

Looks like we have DanM to thanks for chiming in with some truth.
Belle up all...I'm buyin'....no cheap shvt either.

Keep them honest seabeeguy...back to topic.

Are you questioning my integrity? I just joined leatherneck yesterday and have been a profile integrity admin volunteer for a couple of months now. Here is my profile on TWS for your scrutiny: Greer Jr., Clifton (Sparky) PO1 TWS Navy.
