Max out my sit ups question
This is not in regards to a Marines PT Test, but I'm trying to reach my goal for sit ups in a minute. I find I am missing my goal with about 3-4 reps when I practice at home. I slide my feet under a couch but my feet at still not completely flat on the floor.
When someone is holding your feet down and they're weighted down and completely flat, do you find it easier to hit more reps that way?

Yes. If you bend your knees your feet will be flat and your butt won't slide slowing your reps down.

If you really want to go extreme, hang a pullup bar in a doorway, pull your legs up until the bar is behind your knees and do your situps inverted.
You will do crazy reps in a minute after a month the regular way and have washbord abs.
If you do this have aspirin on hand

Abs are made in the kitchen, not on an inverted pullup bar
