    BUMED Waiver and Medical Consult

    Started the BUMED process quite sometime ago because I had a medical history of Osgood Schlatters disease. I applied for a waiver and waited a few months. BUMED sent back, and told me to go to MEPS but didn't approve the waiver. I went to MEPS and resubmitted. BUMED sent back again saying that I needed an eye consult and sent me back to go see a doctor. I have Refractive Amblyopia (lazy eye) and have 20/20 in one eye and 20/70 in the other. I'm pretty sure that this is not disqualifying, but since I've been waiting so long I'm just looking for some solice because I'm very anxious about it. Could anyone add to this/give advice ect.?

    Can't add anything. This is all between the docs and BUMED. All you can do is keep your fingers crossed. Good luck.
