Mr. Matthew Richard (Rick) Moore, 63, died Friday, August 30, 2013 at his home.

Rick was a lifelong resident of Vero Beach and a graduate of Vero Beach High School, Class of 1967. He had owned Rick Moore Painting and Decorating Company prior to his retirement and was a member of the Marine Corps League in Vero Beach.

Rick was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the US Marine Corps. He had earned the rank of Sergeant and was a Purple Heart recipient.

Survivors include brother and sister-in-law Craig and Twila Moore of Vero Beach, niece Kimberly Moore, and great niece and nephew Madison and Brennen Wyde.

He was preceded in death by his parents William U. and Patricia Moore.

SERVICES: There will be a Life Celebration Service at a later date.
