Security Forces FAST Company

My husband is in Chesapeake VA & told me that he is most likely going to be put in the FAST company, what is the deployment schedule like? Can I move with him when he gets stationed? Please help! Thanks!

Sorry, no experience with FAST so can't help you personally. Read the "similar threads" beneath your question. There is one Marine who was with a FAST unit. You can send a PM to him and hopefully he can answer your questions. FAST platoons are like a 911 reaction force and unfortunately there's not a lot of info out there about them (it's pretty secretive). Good luck.

I was able to find some information with a GOOGLE search. Don't know if that will answer your specific questions. Looks like you could move to a base but obviously if he is sent to an embassy for evacuation or a specific threat against a nuclear submarine he would deploy with his FAST platoon (and not sure if there is a schedule).
