Veteran Wearing Blues Regs

What are MarCorpRegs for a veteran wearing full dress blues or SNCO mess dress? Does one have to include the white service cap and gloves or are these items optional wear? If not, I'm visualizing a ponytail protruding from the back of the cap.



I was contemplating wearing blues for MC Ball but stopped short if cap required. Any help appreciated.

Rocky - checked the other links and no answer to my Q. Do I have to wear white barracks cap and gloves along with blues? Oh yes, I don't have a ponytail but thought it would be a hellova laugh to see one poking out

Think of it this way could you wear it without the head gear on active duty also you should look like you are still a Marine while in it so no pony tail or beards.. as for me I am not in shape even if round is a shape so I would not wear it... of course thsi is just my 2 cents
