Boot camp in San Diego. Itr, San Onifre, Camp Pendleton.
celebrated Marine Corps Birthday in boot camp. and Christmas as well.
Christmas we all sat on our buckets and cleaned our M-14's and marched
in squads to church, or mass. Morning we worked, afternoon, was commanders time. sure loved that mail call, and all the cookies and candy'
what fun, all those push-ups. and squat thrusts, we had to pay for that
porgy bait. Boot camp 1966. Platoon 1151.

I enjoy this forum. Only one Problem. You all need to give your graduation date as well as where you went to boot. I think the whole reason for this forum is to try to reconnect with old friends. We might have had a friend who went to boot when we did but different platoon number. One question that I could use answered. Does the Corps use the same Recruit Platoon number more than once?
