If this ban crap doesn't emphasize the need for term limits nothing will. Prohibition, prostitution and the war on drugs &pot were complete failures to such an extent that some states are considering making them legal. They also ignore the faliure of bans in Chicago and New York.

Where there is a demand, there will always be a supply. That is a law equal as the law of gravity. In 1996 COSCO was caught trying to deliver 2000 AK-47s to illegal chinese immigrant gangs on the west coast.

The democratic party is either clueless or purposely have an agenda to destroy the American way of life, i.e. political correctness, redistribution of wealth b/c it's not fair that a heart sugeon or an engineer is making more than a hamburger flipper. Removal of God in schools and giving money to our enemies, ad infinitum.

Ban any weapon and you infringe on my rights. If a few Marine want to own them I see no problem since Marines know what to do with them and how to handel them. And who knows when they may be needed by a welled armed militia? The founding father wanted the people to have weapons because they didn't trust the government. Not what most anti gun people say that they had to hunt back then.

Any cause worth fighting for is worth going toe to toe with any comers, I submit for your edification:

"ON THE BATTLE FEILD OF LIFE, LIE THE GLITTERING BONES,
OF THOSE WHOM AT THE MOMENT OF VICTORY, SAT DOWN TO REST
    AND RESTING DIED"

If you have wisdom enough to read between the lines then you sir are a true patriot and I believe you will continue to fight the good fight on all our behalves.

    Thank you and good night,

    SEMPER FI BROTHERS

    SHOCKING: Gunshot Demographics

    By Clash Daily / 18 February 2013 / 23 Comments
The ugly underbelly of the anti-gun-rights position:
How “The Bad Part of Town” and failed social policies are used for sinister attacks on the right to keep and bear arms, and help justify the law enforcement world and its budgets.
While anti-rights activists speak emotionally about “gun violence”"gun deaths” “human tragedy” and saving lives, what they refuse to say is this—
Homicide in America has demographic, geographic, social and economic factors which, if acknowledged and openly discussed, would transform the debate, and place blame where it really belongs: on the causes and people that fuel the violence we hear about (but rarely actually see for ourselves, except on TV “news”). The real blame is hidden, because the truth is so painful. Crime is not spread across the streets of America. Crime, and crime using guns, happens in isolated areas for well known reasons the media and politicians hide from you.
But, it’s useful to blame guns instead of criminals, and blame guns instead of politicians and social policies, and blame guns instead of festering pesthole neighborhoods, in the effort to disarm the public and transfer power to the government and away from the people. A picture is worth a thousand words. Thank you, Baltimore Sun newspaper, for posting the interactive maps that define the problem clearly—at last (blue is choking, green is blunt force, red is shooting, black is stabbing, white is undetermined) :

    BALTIMORE: All homicide victims, 2007

    BALTIMORE: Black homicide victims, 2007

    BALTIMORE: White homicide victims, 2007
Try the maps yourself, it’s fun, change the ages, sex, race, etc. and see what happens: tinyurl.com
The “gun problem” is not about guns. It’s about people, select groups of people. This isn’t a stereotype, it’s a fact.
