    Sgt. Floyd L. Brown

    Sgt. Floyd L. Brown, 52, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at his home in Garden City. He was born May 4, 1960 to Lester and Alice Williams Brown in Muleshoe, Texas.

    On June 1, 1981, he married Mary Joyce Collins in Hereford, Texas. She survives.
    A resident of Garden City since 1992, Mr. Brown was a truck driver for the Garden City Feed Yard, LLC.
    He was a member of the Mt. Zion Church and was a United States Marine Corps veteran.
    Other survivors include one son, Steven L. Brown of Salina; three daughters, Christy A. Brown of Dallas, Shantellee L. Brown of Dallas and Lataish "Tish" Brown of Garden City; four brothers, Clyde Brown of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Leo Brown, Joe Brown, and Lester Brown, all of Hereford; five sisters, Learjean Brown, Trudy Brown, MaryAnn Brown, Joyce Brown and Renae Brown, all of Hereford; and 10 grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers; and one sister.

    We work Together and knew each other well I will miss him,We were Brothers
