    Need help?

Okay som i'm a poolee. I'm shipping on the 3rd of december. When picking my MOS there were literally barely any jobs opened ( that i qualify for). It was either open contract or Motor T. I went with Motor T but i'm not sure about it. Would that be a good MOS for a female? How is it? Should i go open contract instead?

btw idk if i posted in the correct section but yeah sorry lol.

Do you have much trouble with English as a Primary Language ???

Doesn't seem as though you care to read or follow the SITE RULES
    either..
Especially when it comes to filling out your profile before posting...

    Isn't it sickening ?

All these young kids using there phones to text to the Forum with that text lingo.

Can't answer a question if I can't understand what it is....

Sometimes I have to read the post 4 or 5 times to figure out what they are trying to say.

" It is what it is "... I guess.

    1.......STOP using text lingo.
    2.......Use spell check.
    3.......Capitalize the letter "I".
4.......Before you signed your contract, you should've looked into what MOS's you were qualified for first, and then you should've put a lot of thought into what you wanted to do from what you were qualified for.

Motor T is actually a great MOS for females IMO. It will allow you to work right along with your male counterpart, motor t is needed almost everywhere so there should be quite a few duty station choices.

I'm kind of unsure about it. Do females usually end up as drivers or mechanics?

    Doesnt matter,,
    MECHANIC WISE.
guys will do the heavy lifting anyway

But , As a driver , you wont find many Marines opening truck/vehicle doors for you.
Some things you have to do on your own.

I can't answer that because I really don't know. All I can say is that we had a few female motor-t operators/drivers working in the same battalion as my platoon and they knew their $hit, more so than most of the male motor-t'rs

Okay, well thanks. I was thinking about going open contract, but i heard chances are i end up with food service, or admin.

Don't know about being a cook but admin is a good job (I was an Admin Chief). If you have any specific questions about the MOS just send me a PM.
