Obituary
DENNISON, ARTHUR L. "PETE," 80, of Fairdale, passed away on September 12, 2012.
Mr. Dennison was proud to have served his country as a Marine. He was a P. O.W. during the Korean War. He was the first P.O.W. from Louisville to return home. After his military service, Mr. Dennison worked at Hillerich & Bradsby Co. for 37 years until his retirement in 1991, and a lifetime member of the VFW, Middletown Post.
He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 57 years, Anne Samuels Dennison. He is also survived by his beloved daughter, Patricia A. McCauley (Richard); grandchildren, Nichole L. Barker (Dean), and Justin A. Wendler (Melanie); his little dog, Peety, sister-in-law, Sharon E. Bates (Charlie); niece, Rebecca Bates Manno (Ron) and great-nephew, Benjamin Manno.
Mr. Dennison's services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home with interment at Hebron Cemetery with Military services to follow. Visitation will be noon - 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
