Please think twice before going on road trips, partying, or any other activity that can prevent, deter, or mess up everything you and your recruiter have been working hard for. FOR EXAMPLE.


I finally got my DD contract for 0231 or 2600 MOS. My recrutiter worked his butt off to get me this MOS considering i only got a 90 on the DLAB. I digress... I get into an accident that totals my car after i sign my dlab contract. I had 4 tickets on record and if i got one more everything was in vain and i lose my MOS. But I IMMEDIATELY called my recruiter, the cop heard me call my recruiter Sergeant and he saw my old poolee ID, and i got no tickets.

Basically STAY out of trouble.

I leave in just over 2 weeks myself, and been trying to keep squeaky clean too. I also have the DD contract! I actually just cut myself with my pocket knife, almost freaked out that I hurt myself but it's just a small cut.

Don't speed, be responsible, don't smoke ANYTHING. Don't make a stupid mistake and ruin everything before you even get started.
