I guess you know by now that I am participating in the action on Guam. I'm feeling as good as could be expected. I'm pretty well worn out and tired. I'm getting a little rest now; I'll feel tops in a day or two. At last we are fighting on American soil. Guam is not like the rest of the islands. It is more civilized and not as many jungles. Excuse this short letter. I've got to get some rest.
