Ribbons
I received a package from Retired Service Records last week with several ribbons and medal. The Navy Occupation service, Marine Corps was among them. Was this for service in RVN or on board a carrrier in the Med. Reading up on the medal looks as though it was no longer issued after 1952 or Berlin Occupation. any thoughts. Thanks Seachaser

The only way you should have this one is if you did a tour in Asia after WWII and until 1952 or so....OR, you were in Europe during certain time periods. If you hit West Berlin, you'd rate one up until 1990. My SWAG on this is that someone awarded it to you in error. But, if you were in, in 1950, and hit any of the WWII bad guys under occupation, then you'd rate it.
I weep for what this country is becoming, and fear for my children and grandchildren's future if any more democrats gain national office. We lose more and more freedoms every single day to creeping nannystatism and those who vote for Democrats only want to increase that. Anyone voting for a 'dem' is someone who likely wants to take everything YOU have worked for and mortgage your kids future as well.
