    What is a typical day as a 0311 rifleman ?

    Hello Marines.
    Just finished signing most of my paper work and parental consent and just studying for the asvab , not sure when im going to meps yet, hopefully early September. I either want to go for MP or infantry 0311. Once stationed, what is the typical life of a rifleman? What are the work hours? What do you do all day? Etc.

    wake up at 0430, PT/slay fest, breakfast chow, back to barracks to stand by/play video games/sleep, lunch chow, more standing by, battalion/company formation for 3 hours at the end of the day, finally secured at 1900, back to barracks to get smashed and pass out only to be up at 0430 again the next day to do it all over again.
