NROTC Details

My recruiter is pushing me to take an NROTC scholarship. I scored an 92 on my ASVAB and a 27 on my ACT. Do i have a good chance of getting the scholarhsip? He seemed to think i had a very good chance. Also how does the scholarship work with MOS selection? I know i got to TBS but is it for sure you get what your first choice of MOS? Also im working on my eagle scout currently.

are you accepted for a NROTC scholarship already or not?...Apply and if you get it then take it, none of us here will be able to tell you whether or not you'll get it. And having a NROTC scholarship has no bearing on your MOS that you'll get unless you're going for Air. Your MOS is based on a wish list that you select and where you rank in your TBS class. After you commission whether it be through PLC, OCC, NROTC, or Naval Academy, no one cares how you got there really.
