    Cool Recognation Day For Viet Nam Veterans

    Got this from the Brothers of Nam Web Ring. Felt is was worth posting here.
    ABOUT TIME WE VIET NAM VETERANS BE HONORED FOR OUR SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY.

    good afternoon
    we at the brothers of nam feel it is high time that all vietnam vets
    got their own day of recognition.we have therefore declared may 1st 2003
    as the first day for vietam veterans recognition day.we have filed a
    petion to be sent to congress at the end of this year.we hope you will
    support this and pass it along to as many as you can on your email lists.

    I'm game for gettin together with my Vietnam Bros, any time I can. I am willing to participate in the above links described agenda!
    but I ain't never gonna ask the American people to honor me for my service, I didn't kiss there ass then, I haven't kissed their ass for 36 years and I ain't gonna give them the satisfaction of kissing there ass now by askin them to honor Vietnam Vets,

    Too friggin late people! Vietnam ain't never gonna be over. Ask any of my Brothers that hear a loud sound about what jumps in there face. ask them what it's like to see death and killing over and over in Nightmares and Flash-Backs. ask them why they don't socialize with the public. and if you are crazy enough to ask a Vietnam Vet any of these questions. be ready for the answer. You might not like it! Never forget. You may think me a bit bitter, but Brothers, more than 3/4 of my life has been effected by the stigma the American people have put on Viet Vets. No opportunities, no respect, no breaks. Gung Ho! Hard Corps Forever.. I got my Nam Bros and I have My Marine Corps we have sustained ourselves this long. wtf. ain't but a thing,

    36 years of hearin' dat I'm a bomb fixin ta explode--cold hearted, and countless other adjectives, has take a toll fer sure---Don't believe myself ta be bitter--just don't give a crap!! Only things dat matter are my Nammie Bros--And my immediate family, of course....
