Please advise on changing MOS...

my son is now graduating h.s. and will be on parris island in july for boot camp. his plan is to go straight to active reserve , go to college, then OCS.

he badly wants infantry MOS (03**), but has been assigned supply/shipping (30**). his recruiter told him all the infantry spots were taken and even if he were to wait for another camp he still may not get it; this despite his athleticism and mental fortitude.


firstly, how might he change to 03???
secondly, if he does end up going to 30, how might he be able to change MOS during college/reserves so he can become an 03 officer...
and would he be eligible to become an 03 officer even if his MOS was still 30 upon college graduation?
